Name:
Location: Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan

I'm a university student and belong to karate circle in the university. I like sports very much. In my junior high school and high school days, I belonged to volleyball club, and track and field club. I enjoyed both of them, and now I like watching these sports on TV. I also like animals and have a dog and 7 Japanese killifish. I want to have a cat, too. However, my father don't like cats, and my dog, Rug, will chase the cat. So I will not be able to have any cat...

A Larva of Cabbage Butterfly

Maybe it was 9 days before that my sister came home with a larva of cabbage butterfly on her cloth. Finding it, I and my mother was surprised and laughed.
If it was a stinkbug, I would have thrown it out of the window. However, the larva looked a little bit cute, so I gave it fresh vegetable. I and my sister took picture of the larva with our cell phones and enjoyed watching it.
After a while, I thought that I would not be able to throw it away, though I was not going to keep it. However, I decided to keep it after all because my sister didn't seem to be interested in it any more.
I fed vegetable to it every morning. I think that the amount was enough for the larva, but it didn’t get bigger…So I was sometimes worried about it and wondered why it didn't get bigger. However, yesterday I found that the larva was making thread, before I leave for school. Now, the larva is waiting for getting out in the chrysalis.

A cat I see when I have a walk

Some days before, I saw a cat in front of an electrical substation when I was walking with my dog. The cat ran inside of the fence when we came close to the cat. My dog plunged his head in the fence wagging his tail. When we encountered cats, they went away almost every time. However, the cat stayed close over the fence, though that might be just because the cat was sure that my dog couldn’t reach her (maybe her).
She hardly moved, so we left there and kept walking. However, when we were gonna pass the electrical substation again to go home, the cat was still there, though it was cold and already dark. At that time I wondered why she didn’t go away, but I found the reason yesterday.

I saw the cat yesterday at the same place again. At first, I thought that the cat might live there. However, I understood the reason why the cat stayed there when I found food under the fence. The cat was waiting someone who had fed her before.
This morning, I passed the electrical substation with my dog again, but I didn’t see the cat. Maybe she doesn’t live there. (Yes, it’s too cold to live there!) The reason why she often comes to the place is just because she waits the person who feeds her, not because she lives or loves the place.
I couldn’t take good picture of her because it was getting dark, so I’ll take a walk when it’s not dark to take pictures of her. She is cute, I think, so I should take nice pictures of her!!!

A match of karate

On Sunday, I have a match of karate at Osaka University of Arts. The match is only for university students, and it was held at KGU last year. I didn't take part in the match last year because I was afraid to. However I was encouraged to see my seniors who had taken parted in the match, so I decided to take part in it this year. I practiced hard to improve my defect and not to regret.
On this Wednesday, I sprained my finger when I was practicing. Though I did the same thing many times before, it didn’t hurt, so I didn’t care about the finger. However, when I was playing basketball in physical education class, I noticed that it was a little bit hard to move the finger. Because I was absorbed in playing basketball, I didn’t care about the finger, again. When I woke up this morning, I found that the finger was swelling and that I could bend it just a little. Then I thought that I should have cooled off the finger when I sprained it, and after I played basketball. I hope that the finger is better on Sunday, though I don’t think that the sprained finger will be a reason if I lose.

Gaidai Festival and Our Performance

Gaidai Festival started on November 3, and today my circle had a performance.
We came to school in the morning and started to prepare for the performance. We carried out blocks, boards, trash boxes, blue sheets, tiles, and mitts from a room which many circles share. Then we noticed that a bat we were going to use for the performance was gone! I thought that it had been stolen by someone because I had ever heard that various things were often stolen when the festival was coming. On the performance, one of the members was supposed to break the bat, so we looked for it, but in vain. We gave up finding it, and I went on a bat run.
Though another bat cost
3000 yen, our performance succeeded!
We didn’t expect that the bat would be stolen, and we should have cared about our stuff more. But we are angry at the person who stole the bat, and if I see the bat somewhere, I’ll get it back!!
